Maternity Session Information
Our maternity sessions are a beautiful way to celebrate the incredible journey of motherhood. Sessions can be styled in our Christiana, TN studio or outdoors across scenic locations in Rutherford County, giving you the option of an elegant indoor look or a natural outdoor backdrop.
To ensure comfort and availability, maternity sessions are best booked between 28–34 weeks of pregnancy. This is the ideal time to capture your glow while still feeling comfortable during posing.
Your session includes full access to our curated gown closet, expert posing guidance, and customized styling to create a truly personal experience. Whether you envision a glamorous, flowing gown or a soft and intimate look, we’ll plan a session that reflects your unique style.
Maternity sessions can be booked as a standalone session or combined with a newborn session for a complete “Belly to Baby” experience. Every portrait is designed to capture this fleeting season in a way you’ll cherish for years to come.

All sessions include selections from Kelly Saxon Photography's Maternity Dress Closet, Newborn Outfit Collection, Prop Collection and Wrap Collection. Parents get the luxury of choosing their favorites from these collections. Everything needed for your session will be included by Kelly Saxon Photography. If you have a sentimental item that you would like to incorporated into your session, feel free to bring it to your session.
Upon booking your Maternity session, you will receive a "Guide to your Maternity Session" and an image of the Maternity Dress Collection. This guide will help answer any questions that you might have about how to prepare for your session.
